The hand drawings vary in gesture: one hand is held open and relaxed, another forms a fist, a third displays an elegant, upward-reaching gesture, and a fourth points forward. The portraits show an unfinished profile of a woman's face with detailed shading, and a very sketchy three-quarter view of a woman looking up.
